Keyword scraper video

Okay so I got my hands on some open source software which allows you to record your screen and microphone and save to an AVI video so I figured I’d throw something together and see if people like it.

The first video is just me creating a Ask.com keyword scraper and showing the process from start to end. The typing and audio is in real time.

  1. Obviously not the sort of thing i would ever do but…. nice video a great help for anyone who is looking to take small bist of content from a remote site for perfectly innocent reasons … perhpaps checking ranking etc…

  3. That was great! Talking on a mic while coding is obviously disconcentrating but you did a good job. The voice over is a good idea. I’d really like to see more videos.

  4. Great videos especially for someone like me starting out with PHP coding.
    I see you are using Notepad but what else are you using for the regexes and to make it in to what looks like an IDE for PHP? You made it look real easy!

    Rafa, I’m using Notepad2 rather than standard Notepad from microsoft. It has built in code highlighting.
